Yes, tomorrow is the Feast of the Immaculate Conception. It is also a holy day of obligation /opportunity even if it falls on a Saturday. You get to go to Mass twice this weekend!The image to the left is kind of neat: I've never seen a painting of "St. Anne conceiving the Virgin Mary in her womb."
It is in the Chartreuse Museum in Douai, France.
(Nota Bene: St. Anne could indeed have been praying in the synagogue while conceiving Mary, since conception usually occurs a few hours or even days after the nuptial embrace.)
