Non Nappa
Miriam has stopped napping. For the last two days. Is this the End of All Things? No, forsooth! It is the beginning of "Quiet Time."
It's mostly because I still need "quiet time"! But seriously, it's so important for every human person to have a quiet space in his life. A time for real thoughts and prayers to rise spontaneously.
Yes, I think it's mostly for mom's sanity. But good for the kids as well. I keep suggesting it to my sis-in-law who's always complaining about not having time to get work done during the day with her four kiddos running around.
I've seen some homeschooling mommies who maintain "quiet time" till the kids are 18. I'm all for it.
