Today the Roman Church celebrates the feast of Edith Stein, aka St. Teresa Benedicta of the Cross. August 9 marks the day she died in the gas chambers of Auschwitz.She's a dear old friend--philosopher, convert, bride of Christ. She helped me first love philosophy and see that it, too, is a path to God. For God is truth.
